SCHOOL OF CLINICAL MEDICINE

Current statistics show that the doctor to patient ratio is still very low in Kenya and the East African region. The ratio of clinical officer to patient is also still quite low and there is need to train more of these cadres of staff. The courses offered in the school of Clinical Medicine at Uzima University will allow the clinical officer to grow academically from diploma up to Masters and doctoral levels.

The courses have a strong community health aspect which would give the graduates the opportunity to work within their own community teaching health and wellness programs for all age groups. Uzima University graduates in Clinical medicine will have the opportunity to augment their current health profession with skills and tools to provide educational programs in their field as well as explore other educational opportunities available to them in other fields.
