Prof Oyuko. O. Mbeche is a Civil Engineer specializing in the field of Transportation and Planning.
He is a Board Member nominated by Tertiary Institutions in accordance with the provisions of the Kenya Roads Act. Prof. Mbeche is a Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Society of Engineering Education and Kenya National Academy of Sciences. He is a Nobel peace prize recipient bestowed on him by the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in December, 2007. He is a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Nairobi and has supervised various undergraduate and postgraduate projects. He has also written many research papers on matters touching on Land use, Planning, Transport Economics and Urban Planning. In his work experience, he has worked as a Project Coordinator, Team Leader, and Project Civil/Structural Engineer in various Government organizations.
